OREANDA-NEWS.   Hefei will hold "2014 China International Energy Saving and New-Energy Auto Exhibition" in September. There are many reasons for why Hefei is chosen as the place where the new-energy auto exhibition will be held.

In recent years, Hefei has been taking lead in the development of new-energy auto and has won a lot of titles, such as the first batch of national "pilot cities of energy saving and new-energy atuo", "model cities of the promotion of new-energy vehicle" and "pilot cities of subsidy for private new-energy vehicle purchase".

In addition, Hefei opened the first bus line for pure EVs globally and introduced 300 E-buses and 2500 E-cars. New-energy vehicle has become the driving force for new round of development.

In order to great develop the industry of new-energy vehicle, Hefei set up a special leading team for new-energy vehicle and has introduced world-known companies such as Potevio New Energy Company. At present, over 30 new-energy-vehicle-related enterprises gathered in Hefei, including 3 auto manufacturers, 5 in the filed of battery and material and 2 in the field of electric engine. Hefei has completed the annual production lines of 10000 sets of E-cars,1000 sets of E-buses and 10000 sets of E-commercial vehicles.

Hefei earmarked 5 million yuan to jointly set up "Hefei Municipal Institute of New-energy Vehicle" with Hefei University of Technology, Jianghuai Automobile Company and Jee Automation Equipment Company.

This year, Hefei will introduce another 500 sets of pure electric taxis. The new-energy vehicles produced by Ankai have been operated in 32 cities across the country and E-cars have been promoted in Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu.
