It should be recalled that the parties signed a contract in Ehingen, Germany, on the 25th of May to develop new in-line diesel and gas engines. This is an extension to the first agreement on cooperation concluded by the companies at the end of 2013. The contract stipulates that the Germans will render KAMAZ various services for development of the next generation of diesel and gas engines for the new range of vehicles and buses under the KAMAZ brand, and also stationary diesel and gas generators. KAMAZ must organize modern production for this in Naberezhnye Chelny. In its turn, Liebherr will provide technical assistance and consulting services for calculation, design, purchase, installation and commissioning of production equipment, including a production start-up stage.
