OREANDA-NEWS. July 10, 2014. The Profil (Profile) magazine has put Sviaz-Bank (Vnesheconombank Group) in 20th place in the size of capital and 22nd in the size of assets among the 200biggest Russian banks in the size of equity capital.

The Bank had 43.1 billion rubles in equity capital on the reporting date and moved one rank up from its ranking in the same period of last year.

In Profil’s estimates, Sviaz-Bank placed 14th on June 1, 2014, among banks having the greatest amounts in the balances of their corporate customers’ accounts. With 173.5 billion rubles in its customers’ accounts, the Bank has climbed three lines up from May 1, 2013 (when it had 139billion rubles).

In the magazine’s estimates, Sviaz-Bank has also been ranked 21st among banks that have issued the largest amounts in loans to private companies, with 126.5billion rubles in the total amount of loans on the reporting date, or four ranks up from its previous position on June 1, 2013, or 17billion rubles more.

These performance figures were obtained by the magazine’s own technique and may differ from the Bank’s official figures calculated by the technique used by the Bank of Russia.
