American Chamber of Commerce Extends Cooperation with CENTCOM
OREANDA-NEWS. July 09, 2014. U.S. Central Command extends its contract with the American Chamber of Commerce under the Portal to Central Asian States (CAS) Business Project until June 2015.
The Portal to CAS proceeds with helping CAS businesses foster business relations with the United States Government's (USG) contracting authorities. This and next years, the Portal will conduct a number of trainings on CENTCOM procurements in Afghanistan.
To date, the Portal has trained 401 representatives of 309 CAS businesses, facilitating contracts in the amount of over USD2,6 million. The Executive Director of AmCham, Almaz Dushembiev, says, "We are pleased to help Kyrgyz businesses with opportunities to contract with USG and look forward to another year of bringing business opportunities to Central Asia."
