OREANDA-NEWS. The year 2012 annual report of JSC NIAEP hit the top 10 at the International contest of annual reports Corporate Register Reporting Awards, taking the 9th place in the nomination of Innovation in Reporting.

In 2014 there were 10 nominations altogether in the contest, one being the Innovation in Reporting. Innovation implies both new technologies and new ways to disclose information, to cooperate with stakeholders etc. The aim of the contest is to find and to single out the best world practices and so the nomination marks the annual reports containing innovations which could be used by other companies and contribute to the evolution of corporate reporting.

The ninth position in the international rating speaks of high quality of the annual report of JSC NIAEP and also of the responsible and creative approach to its preparation.

Valery Limarenko, president of JSC NIAEP, managing body of JSC ASE, pointed out many times that the Annual report is not all the rage, but it is a necessary condition for cooperation with the professional community. In essence it's the business card of a company which reflects all its performance indicators. As we have entered the overseas design and construction markets, the number of stakeholders has risen significantly, so year after year we enhance the reporting quality. It is pleasing that our "business card” meets the world standards.

Every year JSC NIAEP demonstrates high quality of its annual reports. For several consecutive years the reports of the company received awards at the industry-specific and national reporting contests. Throughout the years from 2010 to 2014 the annual reports of JSC NIAEP took the first place in the Nuclear rating of the public annual reports. The 2011 annual report of JSC NIAEP won the “Best report of the state corporation” nomination at the annual reports and sites contest organized by the magazine “Securities Market” and the social network Investor.ru and supported by Federal commission for securities markets of Russia. The 2012 report was honored with highest platinum awards at MarCom Awards 2013 - a creative contest of printed and interactive media products, corporate publications, PR-strategies - in two nominations: the best annual report of the corporation and the best visual presentation of the annual report. JSC NIAEP was also among the top five in the corporate transparency rating of the biggest Russian companies according to the study conducted by the Russian regional network of integrated reporting together with the Group of the companies “Da-Strategy” and Downstream Technologies (JSC Telescoping Technologies).

Corporate Register Reporting Awards is an annual international contest of reports of corporate responsibility which has been held since 2007.

There is no jury at the contest, users, registered at the portal, do the voting (more than 40 000), representatives of the companies cannot vote for the report of their company.
