At the signing ceremony for cooperative agreements between Chinese and foreign enterprises, CNSGC Hybrid Wheat Seed (Beijing) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China National Seed Group Co., Ltd. (China Seed) under Sinochem Group, signed a cooperative agreement on hybrid wheat industrialization with Guard Agricultural Research Services (Pvt.) Ltd., marking another firm step of China's hybrid wheat technology on the way of "going out".

Hybrid wheat technology which can boost wheat yield is a global problem as well as the focus on competition in the international seed industry. After 18 years' scientific research, the Beijing Engineering Research Center for Hybrid Wheat under the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences (BAAFS) has systematically created China's two-line hybrid wheat technology system, formed the original two-line hybrid wheat application technology system, and resolved the scientific problem and technical bottleneck which have troubled the world for 60 years. In 2011, to promote the industrialization of hybrid wheat technology and accelerate the selective breeding and popularization of fine hybrid wheat varieties, China Seed and BAAFS made a joint investment to establish a hybrid wheat company. Over the past three years, the company has actively promoted the technical results of two-line hybrid wheat to "go out" and forged partnerships with enterprises in countries such as Pakistan, Uruguay ad the Netherlands.
