OREANDA-NEWS. July 08, 2014. The delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the head of Mr. E.Ganiev, the Minister of foreign economic relations, investments and trade attended 39th Annual Session of Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), which took place in Jeddah (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
   
During the session number of decisions by Board of Governors of the IDB have been viewed and approved. Within the framework of the event Uzbek delegation held meetings with Dr Ahmad Mohamed Ali, the President of the Islamic Development Bank and Vice President Mr. Birama Sidibe, as well as with representatives of political and financial communities of the Saudi Arabia. In the course of talks issues of further development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation were discussed.    
 
On the outcomes of 39th Annual Session of Board of Governors of the IDB number of agreements on funding of infrastructure projects, implementing in Uzbekistan, extending credit line, as well as cooperation in the field of banking and financing sectors was signed.
