OREANDA-NEWS. We refer to the Media Reports regarding the allegations in certain quarters that the Environment & CRZ clearance granted to our project in Vytilla has infirmities.

We deny such allegations as baseless and unfounded. We are a 65- year- old Group, highly compliant and follow all procedures & regulations while carrying out our business and operations.

We would like to reaffirm the factual position that land admeasuring 4.99 acre for the project site at Vytilla was purchased by DLF Ltd. in 2007, through proper title search and due diligence with prior ownership deeds, registered with Registrar of land documents.

The Chief Town Planner, Government of Kerala has confirmed in writing that our land is thickly populated residential area falling under Residential Zone of Cochin Corporation.

All our approvals for this project such as Building Plan, Pollution Control Board, Environment & CRZ, and Fire License have been obtained after following the due process of law and applicable regulations. The construction has been carried out in accordance with our sanctioned Building Plan.

As regards our CRZ clearance, the same was granted by KCZMA after due scrutiny and referred to MoEF as well as Kerala State Environment Assessment Authority (SEIAA).

SEIAA issued our project integrated Environment cum CRZ clearance after due examination. As prescribed in this approval, we advertised in both vernacular and English daily inviting objections, if any, within 30 day period. No objections were received...

Post our Environment cum CRZ clearance, we applied for Fire License which was received, following which we applied to Cochin Corporation for Door Number / Occupation Certificate.

At this stage we came to know through media reports that certain persons have raised objections to our CRZ clearance.

We have also learnt through media reports that Government. of Kerala has constituted a three member committee to go into the issue.

We are confident that after the Company has been called upon to represent its case before any appropriate authorites, we will provide all the documents and copies of permissions in order to demonstrate that there is no infirmity in any of our approvals relating to the Project.

Once again we reiterate that DLF is a highly compliant organisation, operating at all times within the framework of the rules and regulations in force.
