OREANDA-NEWS. July 04, 2014. Dmitry Patrushev, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Russian Agricultural Bank, paid a visit to the city of Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad region where he held working meetings with acting Governor of Saint Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko and Governor of the Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko.

The parties touched upon the issues of cooperation between the Bank and local authorities aimed at development of agribusiness and other sectors of regional economy.

The meeting with Alexander Drozdenko was focused on increasing role of Russian Agricultural Bank in social and economic development of the Leningrad region. The parties discussed how the regional Administration could assist in implementation of important investment projects, namely, by supplying facilities under construction with utility lines. The main topic of the meeting between Dmitry Patrushev and Georgy Poltavchenko was the Bank`s growing investments to Saint Petersburgs`s infrastructure, including road construction, home building, transport and energy utilities.

“There is a work under way on a strategic partnership agreement between Russian Agricultural Bank and the Leningrad region which will boost social and economic development of the area. The Bank seeks to open new points of sale in the region, increase operations both in agribusiness and other sectors, including participation in regional special-purpose and in-house programs”, Dmitry Patrushev noted.
