As the press service of the government reports, Iurie Leanca paid a visit to agricultural enterprise Ghevlandri (Vulcanesti), which planted 960 ha with wheat, 17 ha with barley and 200 ha with rape.
The company expects to harvest 45 centners per ha of wheat, 24 centners per ha of rape and 36 centners per ha of barley. During his visit to Agrogled (Taraclia) the Premier was told about the course of the rape harvesting. The Premier pointed out the necessity to make every effort for agricultural producers to pay back their investment and promote their goods to new markets. He also stressed that the DCFTA agreement, signed last Friday, would make it possible to raise competitiveness of Moldova’s agricultural production.
“We have to export not only feedstock, but value-added goods too. Investing in local companies means creating new jobs, which, at the end of the day, contributes to Moldova’s economy”, Iurie Leanca added.
