OREANDA-NEWS. July 03, 2014. Metsaliitto Cooperative, the parent company of Metsa Group, announced the divestment of the entire share capital of its subsidiary Metsa Wood Eesti AS to Combimill Invest OU.

The divestment was finalised on 30 June 2014 following the approval of the Estonian competition authority. The transaction will not have a significant impact on Metsa Wood’s financial results, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Metsa Wood is part of Metsa Group. Metsa Wood provides competitive and environmentally friendly wood products for construction, industry and distributor partners.
