At a Government’s session the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk noted he has rather positive forecasts concerning negotiations on the second bailout tranche from the International Monetary Fund “despite the difficult situation that wasn’t accounted for at the beginning of talks with the IMF”.

The Head of Government reminded a mission of the International Monetary Fund is staying in Kyiv: “We are holding meetings with the IMF to discuss obtaining the second tranche of financial assistance for Ukraine”.

“None expected the significant budget expenditures for defence and security, for actual warfare in anti-terrorist operations’ area which is still lasting,” he said.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk emphasized despite all the difficulties the Ukrainian side manages to execute all IMF criteria.
