OREANDA-NEWS.   The reporter learned from Hefei Customs that the processing trade in Anhui Province has been developing greatly. The import and export volume of the processing trade hit 4.81 billion in the first 5 months, up 51%.

In 2013, the growth rate of processing trade in Anhui was 41.2 percent higher than the national level and 19.9 percent higher than that in Central China. In the first five months, the growth rate was 54 percent higher than national level, and 38.9 percent higher than that in Central China. The growth rate of the import and export volume of processing trade in Anhui ranked first among the six provinces in Central China.

It was analyzed by related persons in Customs that the policies of stabilizing growth and the increasing demands from developed states accounted for the increasing export. After years of development, the enterprises of Anhui have unique advantages over their counterparts. In the first five months, there were 370 corporations that had import and export records, which increased by 39.

The processing trade corporations are transforming to high manufacturing industries. In the past five months, the import and export volume of electro-mechanical products reached 3.07 billion dollars, which accounting for more than 60%, and increasing by 16.2%. The import and export volume of high technical products hit 1.7 billion dollars, accounting for 36.7% of the processing trade , which increased by 21.1%. The import and export volume of two export processing zones in Hefei and Wuhu reached 1.28 billion dollars, which rose by 4.7 folds year on year.
