OREANDA-NEWS. The specialists are connecting power supply to the polar crane and assembling the equipment.

The subsidiary of Holding Company OJSC Sosnovoborelektromontazh completes works on connecting the power supply of the polar crane with lifting capacity exceeding 360 tons, which was installed in the reactor building of the first unit at the elevation of 42 meters. It is planned to power it shortly. The polar crane will be used for assembly works in the reactor building of the first unit of LNPP-2.

Also the specialists of the Company commenced the works on the second unit of the plant. The carry out assembly of the lighting system and cable supporting metal structures in the turbine building of the second unit of LNPP-2.

Holding Company TITAN-2 is one of the main contractors in construction of units No. 1 and No. 2 of Leningrad NPP-2. The Holding Company's organizations carry out 30 % of civil works and 80 % of assembly works at the construction site. The specialists of the Holding Company are working at the first and the second unit facilities of the Leningrad LNPP-2. The works are currently carried out in the reactor building, turbine building, electric power supply building, water supply building, district heating buildings and other structures of the units.
