OREANDA-NEWS. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company Branch in Rostov-on-Don concluded a contract of compulsory insurance of civil liability of the carrier for damage to life, health or property of passengers (OS GOP) with Autoline Company (Zverevo town in Rostov Region).

The company is one of the largest passenger carriers in Rostov Region, with over 130 vehicles; it provides services to about 800,000 passengers a year. The total number of passengers insured is 809,400 people.

The insurance program provides for compensation for damage that may be caused to life, health or property of passengers. Pursuant to the applicable legislation, the limit of liability of the policy holder is RUB 2,025 m in case of a passenger's death and up to RUB 2 m in case of injury and up to RUB 23,000 in case of damage to property.

Carriers are obliged to insure their liability to passengers pursuant to federal legislation. Federal Law No. 67-FZ of 14.06.2012 "On Compulsory Insurance of the Civil Liability of a Carrier for Causing Harm to the Lives, Health or Property of Passengers and on the Procedure for Compensating for Such Harm Caused during Passenger Transportation by Underground" came into force on 1 January, 2013.

Ingosstrakh Insurance Company Branch in Rostov-on-Don has cooperated with Autoline LLC since 2013.

Autoline LLC was founded in 2004. It is one of the largest road transportation companies in the Rostov region; Autoline provides municipal, commutation and intercity passenger transportation.
