OREANDA-NEWS. June 26, 2014. Regular cabinet meeting under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Karim Massimov has been held in Ukimet Uiy.

The agenda addressed a number of socio-economic development issues of the country.

In particular, there were discussed and approved the draft law securing the principles of "Yellow pages rule" and an action plan on joining the top 30 countries rated by WB "Doing Business" by 2016 presented by the Minister of Regional Development Bolat Zhamishev. Above-named plan includes 53 measures by 11 indicators.

B. Zhamishev also presented the draft law on equity participation in housing construction. According to him, central failure of equity construction’s current mechanism is inability to use the shareholder s’ funds to complete the construction. Mechanisms to ensure risk minimization of shareholders’ funds use were developed for further development of this sector. The bill has been approved by the Government at the end of discussions.

Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev reported on implementation of the Comprehensive privatization plan for 2014-2016.

Agriculture Minister Asylzhan Mamytbekov informed on changes and amendments to the Program "Agribusiness-2020" to meet the challenges set by the Head of state.

Head of NMH "KazAgro" Dulat Aitzhanov reported on investment projects of the holding. According to him, the investment portfolio of holding has 417 projects worth 263 billion tenge. 310 projects worth 198 billion tenge are commissioned, and 160 projects entered the production capacity of more than 70%, 11 thousand jobs are created.

Moreover, Minister of Transport and Communications Zhenis Kasymbek and Vice President of JSC "NC "KTZ" Adelsha Ermukhanov informed on implementation of major projects in the sector of roads and railways. There are four major projects: "Western Europe - Western China", "Center - South", "Center - East", "Center - West".

Minister of Oil and Gas Uzakbai Karabalin informed on master plan of Kazakhstan’s gasification for 2015-2030.

"This program document, first developed in Kazakhstan, provides for strategic direction to ensure a reliable gas supply to consumers," U. Karabalin said.
