OREANDA-NEWS. The Board of Directors of Tata AIA Life Insurance Company (Tata AIA Life) has announced the appointment of Mr. Ishaat Hussain as Chairman of the Company with effect from June 17, 2014.

Mr. Hussain has succeeded Mr. Farrokh K. Kavarana, who retired from the Board of Directors of Tata AIA Life, in keeping with the Tata group guidelines on retirement of Directors.

Mr. Kavarana has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company since inception and has been a guiding light for the Company throughout.

The Board has placed on record its sincere appreciation and gratitude for the contribution by Mr. Kavarana during his tenure of 14 years.
