OREANDA-NEWS. June 25, 2014. Shanghai: Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding has signed a strategic agreement with General Electrics (GE) to strengthen cooperation in various sectors.

According to CSSC, the parent company of Hudong Zhonghua, the two companies will particularly cooperate on the development of LNG ships and offshore products.

Hudong Zhonghua is one of the leading shipyards in China, and it is the first and only shipyard in China that has successfully built an LNG carrier.
