OREANDA-NEWS. June 25, 2014. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) together with Non-Commercial Partnership of Railway Rolling Stock Operators and expert community developed the web-site of Commercial Market Infrastructure in the field of rail-freight traffic: kirrail.org.

The web-site contains the following information:

1. Information about Commercial Market Infrastructure in the field of rail-freight traffic.

2. Web-site is organized in the following modules: “Placing rolling stock on private tracks” (launched in a test mode), “Organized tenders for providing wagons” (in progress), “Terminal services” (in progress), “Regular Freight Train” (in progress), “Locomotive haulage” (in progress), etc.

The first part of the project is completed: the system of organized trading with the services for placing freight wagons on private tracks is launched and is working in the test mode (“Placing rolling stock on private tracks” module - rb.kirrail.org).

Module users can be operators that want to place their rolling stock on private rail tracks (“siding”) and owners of private rail tracks that are prepared to sell siding service to operators as well as freight owners.
