Domodedovo Gives New Opportunities to Nordavia Passengers
OREANDA-NEWS. On June 20, 2014, a new partner of Moscow Domodedovo Airport, Nordavia Airline, launched air communication between the biggest air hub in Eastern Europe and the world's biggest city beyond the Arctic Circle.
Murmansk became the first flight program destination as part of cooperation between Moscow Domodedovo Airport and Nordavia. Flights to the regional center will be operated three times a week - on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

For instance, Germania Airline flights to Baden-Baden were launched last winter; S7 initiated flights to Pathos, Larnaca, and Helsinki in April 2014; and new partner of Moscow Domodedovo Airport, the Greek carrier of Ellinair, offered flights to Kerkira to passengers.
In capacity of East Europe's biggest airport in terms of passenger traffic, Moscow Domodedovo Airport is the critical link connecting the global flight network and domestic destinations. The flight schedule takes into account transfer passengers' needs: you can make a transfer here in the shortest possible time. For instance, almost 1,873,000 passengers used transit and transfer services at Moscow Domodedovo Airport in 2013 and 690,000 travelers, in the first five months of 2014, a 5.6% increase y-o-y.
Moscow Domodedovo Airport is the largest air hub in Russia, and in 2013, its total passenger traffic amounted 30.76 million people. It falls into the category of the largest airports in Europe and is among the top three fastest growing airports in Europe according to the ACI Europe classification. It is the best airport in Russia and the CIS as rated by Skytrax. Moscow Domodedovo Airport is the base airport in Moscow for member airlines of the largest global airline alliances - Star Alliance and oneworld.
