OREANDA-NEWS. June 24, 2014. Kazakh Government will introduce the draft budget for 2015-2017 in Parliament this fall. It was announced by Prime Minister Karim Massimov.

It should be noted that Parliament approved the report of the Government and Audit Committee on budget execution during 2013 at the joint session today.

According to the Government, the GDP growth was 6% in 2013. The annual inflation rate was 4.8% in 2013, which is down for 1.2 percentage points than the previous year. 

During 2013, the national budget received 179.4 5 billion tenge, which is 100.5% of the annual plan. In total planned income, tax revenues amounted to 3 511.7 billion tenge, or 68.2%.

Republican budget expenditures amounted to 5 trillion 99.1 billion tenge or 99.3% of the plan.

They increased for 195 billion tenge as compared to 2012. Social service - 2336, 4 billion tenge or 36%, of those 1 239.9 billion tenge - pensions and benefits took a major share in the structure of expenditures.

The national budget deficit amounted to 718 billion tenge or 2.1% to GDP in terms of 2.3% of GDP.
