In Bishkek was held the presentation of a new banking service - electronic wallet "ELSOM", through which you can buy goods and services, send and receive money transfers, deposit funds, as well as other types of financial transactions, using only a mobile phone. Innovation on the domestic market was introduced  by CJSC "Kyrgyz Investment and Credit Bank" (KICB).

Hall of metropolitan Theatre of Opera and Ballet, where was held "ELSOM" presentation gathered more than 600 guests. Most of the guests are top managers and employees of large companies, representatives of the financial sector, heads of government departments and agencies. All guests were personally welcomed by KICB Chairman Mr. Kwang Young Choi. In details was presented merits and benefits of the electronic wallet, through which you can make financial transactions, even in the most remote parts of Kyrgyzstan, where there are no bank branches, without opening new account.

"Our main goal was to make "ELSOM" easy to use, but at the same time ensure the security of the system and compliance with applicable regulatory legislation. We purchased a reliable information technology platform for mobile banking, which is the latest model. The Bank's Board has received clear message from shareholders that KICB activities should be aimed at economic development of the Kyrgyz Republic by providing innovative and sought-after real citizens of banking services. In this regard, I believe that "ELSOM" exactly implements this promise, because the service will significantly increase penetration and improve access to banking products to the population of Kyrgyzstan", - said Kwang Young Choi.

Despite the fact that "ELSOM" was launched recently on March 1, 2014, the service is already popular. By June 1, the mobile wallet from KICB already had more than 14.5 thousand users, and the number of points, providing an opportunity for service payment via "ELSOM" exceeded 220.

At this stage, the bank launches mobile financial services mainly in the big cities of the country, however, as confirmed by Kwang Young Choi, the ultimate goal - as soon as possible to cover all regions of Kyrgyzstan.

"Now we are working under the increasion of subscribers network together with our partners, and we expect that by the end of 2018 "ELSOM" network will be completely built and cover all corners of our country", - said chairman of KICB.
