Moldovan PM Called French Businessmen to Invest
OREANDA-NEWS. June 20, 2014. He announced this speaking at the meeting of the entrepreneurs of France (MEDEF), where he took part within the framework of the official visit to France.
This event, held in Paris, was attended by over 20 French companies. Iurie Leanca said that Moldova's government pays special attention to foreign investors and stimulate partnerships between entrepreneurs from Moldova and other countries. The Prime Minister said that Moldova is interested to expand trade and economic relations with European partners and supports the initiation of new cooperation projects.
The Prime Minister expressed confidence that signing of Association Agreement and creation of a free trade zone with the EU will open new economic opportunities for Moldova, as well as investors and trading partners of our country. The Prime Minister spoke of the Road map to address the limitations in the business environment, approved and implemented by the government, reforms to create a favorable investment climate, as well as the action for the sustainable economic development of the country.
Urging businessmen from France to invest in the economy of Moldova, Iurie Leanca assured them that the Moldovan government will make every effort for implementation of European standards in the country, facilitate the inflow of foreign investments and ensure good conditions for the development of profitable business in the country. The Prime Minister said that Moldova has a large untapped economic potential.
Free economic zones are important asset of the Moldovan economy and collect a large volume of foreign investment. In his turn, the President of MEDEF International Jean Burrell (Jean Burelle) noted the ongoing dynamics of economic development of Moldova, noting its importance in light of the signing of the Association Agreement, including the creation of a free trade area of the Republic of Moldova with the EU.
