OREANDA-NEWS. June 20, 2014. This is provided by the project of the budget-tax policy for 2015, developed by the Ministry of Finance. According to the Department, excises on cars shall be increased to bring their size in line with the inflation projected for 2015.

In particular, for cars with volume of gasoline engine up to 1 thousand cubic cm. with term of operation till 7 years, the excise tax will be increased from 0.4 to 0.42 euro per 1 cubic cm; 8 years from 0.42 to 0,44 euros; 9 years - from 0.44 to 0.46 euro; 10 years - from 0,46 to 0.48 euro. For cars with volume of gasoline engine from 1 thousand to 1.5 thousand cubic cm., the size of the excise duty for cars not older than 7 years, will grow from 0,52 to 0.54 euro per 1 cubic cm; for cars with term of operation of 8 years - from 0,55 to 0.57 euro; 9 years - from 0.57 to 0,59 euro; 10 years - from 0.6 to 0.63 euros per 1 cubic cm, with volume of gasoline engine from 1,5 thousand to 2 thousand cubic cm. excises on cars not older than 7 years is proposed to increase from 0.8 to 0.83 euro, 8 years - from 0,88 0,84 up to euro, 9 years - from 0.89 to 0.93 euros; 10 years – from 0,93 to 0.97 euro.

For the cars with volume of gasoline engine from 2 thousand to 3 thousand cubic cm. with term of operation till 7 years excises are planned to increase from 1.32 up to 1.38 euro per 1 cubic cm., 8 years - from 1,39 to 1.45 euro; 9 years from 1.46 to 1.52 euro; 10 years from 1.52 up to 1,59 euro. At the same time, the excise tax on cars with volume of gasoline engine over 3 thousand cubic cm. for all cars with term of operation till 10 years old will remain at the level of 3,5 euro per 1 cubic cm.

For vehicles with diesel engine capacity of up to 1.5 thousand cubic cm. with term of operation till 7 years, the excise tax will be increased from 0.52 to 0.54 euro per 1 cubic cm; 8 years - from 0,55 to 0.57 euro; 9 years - from 0.57 to 0,59 euro; 10 years - from 0.6 to 0.63 euros for 1 cubic cm. For the cars with diesel engine from 1.5 million to 2.5 thousand cm. the excise duty for cars not older than 7 years will grow from 1.32 up to 1.38 euro per 1 cubic cm; 8 years - from 1,39 to 1.45 euro; 9 years – from 1,46 through to 1.52 euro; 10 years from 1.52 up to 1,59 euro per 1 cubic cm. For all cars not older than 10 years with a diesel engine capacity exceeding 2.5 thousand cubic cm, the excise tax will remain at the level of 3,5 euro per 1 cubic cm.
