Kazakh Budget Expenditures Increased by 19% for 5 Months
OREANDA-NEWS. June 19, 2014. Budget expenditures amounted to 19% during 5 months which is more than the same period of last year, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan - Finance Minister Bakhyt Sultanov said.
"During five months of 2014, budget expenditures amounted to 3 040 billion tenge, which is higher for 19% than the same period last year. Expenditures in the amount of 2 702 billion tenge were incurred from the state budget. Percentage of national budget expenditures accounts for 94%," B. Sultanov said during a briefing in CCS.
However, he said, 172 billion tenge remained undeveloped, which is less for 25 billion tenge than during 5 months of 2013. "However, there are some administrators who have undevelopment," he added.
Local budget expenditures were implemented in the amount of 1 302 billion tenge or 93.2% of the plan during 5 months. The amount of unused funds totaled 95 billion tenge, which is less for 7 billion tenge that in last year, B. Sultanov said.
1,7 trillion tenge of direct taxes were transferred to the National Fund of Kazakhstan during 5 months. Increase in state budget revenues amounted to 461 billion tenge, he said.
There are additional 111 billion tenge for these types of taxes and main increase occurred in the export duty, Head of Finance Ministry said.
"Taxes for 36 billion tenge more for 5% were received from small to medium-sized enterprises," he said.
According to him, state budget revenues amounted to 3 088 billion tenge or 104.5% of the plan. Republican budget revenues also exceeded for 2.2% and amounted to 2 546 billion tenge. The national budget deficit amounted to 150 billion tenge. Budget expenditures amounted to 3 040 billion tenge during 5 months, which is higher for 19% than the same period of last year.
