OREANDA-NEWS. Belgorodskiy Cement, a member of EUROCEMENT group, demonstrates growth of performance indicators for its results in April 2014 compared to the same period last year. During the reporting period, the company produced 155,439 tons of cement, which is 6 percent (146,602 tons) more than during April 2013.

High growth in the demand among consumers for high-quality PC-500-D0-N cement was observed. In April 2014, 27,325 tons of cement of this type were produced - 2.2 times (15,077 tons) more than during the same month in 2013.

Portlandcement PC 500-D0-N is produced in accordance with GOST 10178-85 and refers to a special cement clinker manufactured on the basis of normalized composition. In contrast with regular Portlandcement, it has high frost resistance, abrasion and shock resistance, corrosion resistance, and high tensile and flexural strength. These properties allow its use in the construction of modern highways, the construction of airfields, runways, port and storage areas, city streets, bridge structures, concrete sleepers, posts poles for contact power lines and other important structures in industrial and civil construction.

Portland cement PC 500-D0-N purposed for road construction has a delayed start setting no earlier than 2 hours, which ensures the mobility of concrete mixtures and allows the delivery of concrete over long distances.
