Budget Revenues on Corporate Income Tax in Kazakhstan Doubled
OREANDA-NEWS. June 17, 2014. Budget revenues on corporate income tax in Kazakhstan have doubled since 2010. It was announced by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Finance Bakhyt Sultanov at the enlarged meeting of the Committee on Finance and Senate Budget.
"It should be noted that the corporate income tax is increasing, and has doubled as compared to 2009. Today, revenues exceed one trillion tenge. Collection of this tax corresponds to the growth of the economy. But it is difficult to predict the growth in this tax accurately in changing market conditions," Sultanov said reading the report of Kazakhstan Government on republican budget performance for 2013.
He reported that public revenues in 2013 increased by 7.8 percent - to 5 trillion 272 billion tenge compared to 2012. Budget revenues amounted to 5 trillion 180 billion tenge, B. Sultanov said. In general, the income plan was exceeded by 27 billion tenge, or 0.5 percent.
