OREANDA-NEWS. Yet another forward step in the construction of the largest project in the history of the mining industry. Work on the foundation piles of the secondary and tertiary crushing buildings of the CarajЁўs S11D Iron Project in ParЁў has concluded on schedule.

Initiated in October last year, this task is the first stage of construction of the concrete foundations of the areas that will house the plant's modules. During this phase, more than 300 piles were sunk to depths of as much as 26 metres. The next stage, which involves construction of the pile caps, is already underway. This will be followed by construction of the structures on which the modules will be assembled.
