OREANDA-NEWS. The Government of Belarus plans to refund loan interest payments for local bakery plants and fodder factories in accordance with the government's resolution #504 of May 26, 2014.

The total value of credits taken out by Belarusian bakery plants and fodder factories stands at Br664.264 billion (USD 65.899 million) and €12.707 million.

The credits were provided by Belarusbank and Belagroprombank in 2011-2013 to a total of 29 companies under the government's agribusiness promotion programmes.

The refund for ruble credits will be provided at 25%, 50% and 100% of the full interest rate (depending on the programme), FX credits - at 4.5%-6%, depending on the terms of the credit agreement.

The companies will use the compensations to replenish their circulating assets.
