OREANDA-NEWS. June 16, 2014. XI International Tourism Exhibition "ITFA 2014: Tourism. Sayakhat. Sport" was held in Aktobe. The exhibition included the republican festival of applied art masters "Sheber auyly".

The exhibition was held outdoor in the park named after the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Tourism potential of Kazakhstan was presented by delegations from Akmola, Almaty, West Kazakhstan, Mangystau and South Kazakhstan regions. The exhibition was attended by 100 exhibiting companies and 35 masters who presented 64 exhibition stands.

Chairman of the Tourism Industry Committee Marat Igaliyev and First Deputy Akim of Aktobe Region Nurmukhambet Abdibekov opened the exhibition.

During the exhibition held in the contests "Best stand design", "Best Hand-made Master", "Best Presentation of local tourism product". The winners were awarded prizes and gifts.

As the Chairman of the Tourism Industry Committee of noted the region has good potential for development of tourism. There is a major international transit corridor Western Europe - Western China with a total length of 628 km.
