OREANDA-NEWS. June 16, 2014. The shares of JSC TATNEFT have been included in the first (higher) level listing of the Moscow Exchange.

The certificate of the JSC TATNEFT’s shares inclusion (ordinary:  ticker TATN and privileged: ticker TATNP) in the top-level quotation list of the Moscow Stock Exchange was handed over to Azat Yagafarov, Deputy General Director of the Company - Director of TATNEFT’s Representation Office in Moscow, during the official ceremony devoted to the listing reform of the Moscow Stock Exchange.

The shares of JSC TATNEFT previously also used to be included in the first level MICEX "A" list.

Presence of TATNEFT’s shares in the top quotation list confirms adherence of the Company to the highest standards of the corporate management.

In accordance with the innovations having entered in force on June 9, 2014 the Moscow Exchange has formed an updated list of securities admitted to trading, which consists of three sections. The first (top level) includes the securities that have earlier been included in quotation lists "A1" and "A2". The second level is formed from the previous quotation lists "B", "V" and "I". The third level is formed of the securities previously included in the "List of non-listed securities" and "Securities admitted to placement".

On the one hand the listing updating expands investors’ opportunities and simplifies the listing procedure and on the other hand toughens the requirements for issuers, including the ones related with the corporate management.
