OREANDA-NEWS. Volume of commercial product sales of “KuibishevAzot” OJSC for the three months of 2014 amounted to 7,8 billions of rubles, which is 8,7% higher than the results of corresponding period of the last year. By the results of 1st quarter there was received net profit of 853,6 millions of rubles (growth by 4,4% in relation to the value of the previous year.).

Comparing with corresponding period of 2013, the output of major products was as follows:

ammonia - 95,4%;

mineral fertilizers, expressed as 100% of nitrogen - 100,1%, including:

ammonium nitrate - 103,7%;

urea - 97,0%;

ammonium sulfate - 98,5%;

caprolactam - 101,4%;

poliamide-6 - 107,2%;

technical yarn - 98,9%;

cord fabric - 100,8%.

Cord fabric dip-mixing plant was constructed and started, with the use of modern process solutions. They ensure efficient dipping material consumption and improve physical and mechanical properties of fabric. Supplier of equipment - Benninger Zell company (Germany). Production capacity is 33 million of linear meters. The plant is designed for dipping of cord fabric, produced in Togliatti and Kursk production sites of “KuibishevAzot” group of companies, also for the planned increase of capacities.

On ammonium nitrate production, in juice steam condensate purification performed commissioning and selection of optimal modes. Final putting of this unit into operation is planned for 2014. Realization of this project will allow: completely reduce the discharge of chemically contaminated effluents from ammonium nitrate production, reduce the total volume of this group of effluents by 30% and reduce consummation of river water.

Construction of new energy efficient cyclohexanone production, according to DSM company technology (the Netherlands), is in progress. Preparation work is started, in order to create joint productions with other foreign partners, leading in their field: ammonia - with Linde company (Germany) and air separation products - with Praxair corporation (USA).

All the above projects are aimed at ensuring long-term development of “KuibishevAzot” OJSC, reduction of raw material, heat and energy resources consumption, reduction of manufacturing impact on environment, and also retention of company's market positions in the context of increasing competition.
