OREANDA-NEWS. On June 4, a meeting of the Board of Directors of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company was held to elect a Chairman of the company's Board of Directors. Oleg Samuilovich Vikhansky was appointed to the position. Marina Viktorovna Chekurova was elected the Deputy Chairman of the board of Directors of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company.

O.S. Vikhansky was born in 1946. Doctor of Economic Sciences, professor, he graduated from M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University with a degree in economic cybernetics in 1969. From 1988 to date he works as chairman of Production Management Department in the Economics School of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University. From 1998 to date he is an advisor to Kompanya Bazovy Element LLC (part time). From 2000 to date he works as chairman of Production Management Department in the Economics School of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University. From 2004 to date - Director General of Institute for Complex Strategic Studies LLC. From 2005 to date - Director General of Gruppa Strategic Issledovany LLC. Oleg S. Vikhansky is a member to the Academic Council of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University and chairman of the Academic Council of Higher Business School of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University. O.S. Vikhansky has been chairman of the board of Directors of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company continuously since 2009.

In pursuance of the annual general shareholder meeting resolution to increase authorized capital of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company up to RUB 17.5 b, the Board of Directors approved emission of the company securities with the par value of each share of seven rubles and the total of 2,500,000,000 shares to be alloted by way of converting shares into securities of the same category with higher par value.

The Board meeting formed the committees for auditing, strategic planning, HR, remuneration, as well as for Board meeting materials preliminary review.

The Board of Directors of the company also resolved to introduce the position of Public Relations Deputy Director General into the organizational structure of Ingosstrakh Insurance Company. Candidacy of Ilya Petrovich Solomatin was approved for the position.
