CEPSA Introduces its New XTAR Lubricants
OREANDA-NEWS. June 11, 2014. CEPSA has introduced its new range of XTAR lubricants. This new selection of products represents a turnaround of the Company's commercial strategy, aimed at promoting its high-end synthetic products designed for cars, as well as highlighting their image by showcasing the technology used in their formulation.
With this new range, CEPSA seeks to increase its market share by providing greater value to customers. The specifications of the XTAR range of car lubricants have been approved for all vehicle types. They have the highest performance demanded by the market, with an emphasis on efficiency, and they offer the advantage of reduced friction and fuel savings when compared to conventional lubricants.
This launch consolidates the Company's international expansion and the opening up to new markets. As stated by Jose Aramburu, director of CEPSA's lubricant area: “All CEPSA Lubricant products are manufactured with state-of-the-art technology at our San Roque plant in Spain, where around 100 people are employed. From there, we export all over the world. We also benefit from contributions from our research centre, where we leverage innovation to offer a product of the highest possible quality to our customers, regardless of where in the world they are located."
CEPSA currently sells 235,000 t of lubricants, oils and paraffin, putting the Company in a leading position on the Spanish market and allowing it to export products to expanding markets in South America and Asia, as well as within Europe. CEPSA lubricants has high expectations on its recent five years deal with Apsis, subsidiary of the SAIC Group, for the distribution of its products on a market like the Chinese, that has a current volume of around 7 million tonnes a year.
