OREANDA-NEWS.    KAMAZ is taking part in the international specialized exhibition Construction Equipment and Technologies (CTT’2014) held in Moscow on these days till June 7.
The model range of construction vehicles can be divided into two groups for convenience: dump trucks and inclined-axis mixers in the first group, mobile cranes and AWPs in the second one. KAMAZ presented 18 most popular vehicles of their segment at CTT’2014. All they comply with the Euro 4 emission standard. The company formed its exposition in such a way that each participant and would-be user could find a vehicle he needs.
The visitors were mostly interested in a bolster-type tractor of the new generation – KAMAZ M1842 (5490) made by KAMAZ in cooperation with its strategic partner – Germany’s Daimler AG. It was displayed at CTT for the first time. Besides, a three-axle prime mover based on a KAMAZ-43118 all-wheel drive chassis was demonstrated there.
The main model in the range of construction equipment is the basic model of a “heavy” line – a KAMAZ-6520 (6x4) dump truck that can carry 20 t of payload. An all-wheel drive version of the basic model – KAMAZ-6522-RG (6x6) – was made for operation under more difficult road conditions. Besides these vehicles, the visitors of the exhibition will manage to see a transfer dump truck consisting of a KAMAZ-6520 dump truck and a NEFAZ-8560 trailer with a kerb weight of 21 tonnes. The company presented a NEFAZ-9509 dump semitrailer with a payload capacity of more than 31 tonnes equipped with a multipurpose coupling that fits both domestic and foreign tractor units.
Moreover, a four-axle KAMAZ-65201, motormixers based on KAMAZ-65201 and KAMAZ-53605 chassis, truck cranes and an aerial work platform on KAMAZ chassis as well as many interesting models with manipulators are presented at CTT’2014. Of no less interest for would-be users are also vehicles running on compressed natural gas – methane.
