OREANDA-NEWS. June 10, 2014. Tashkent, the Investment Financial Forum hosted near 500 representatives from international  financial institutions, leasing, accounting and investment companies, rating agencies, miniseries,  international and local public organizations. The Forum is presented by SAIPRO information and rating agency with the assistance of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and in the cooperation with the General Arab Insurance Federation.

This Forum provides an opportunity to hold negotiations, mutually beneficial business meetings and to discuss important issues, both within an industry and between different sectors of financial market.

Akmal Akbarov, the First Deputy Director General, Uzbekistan Airways, presented his speech at the opening ceremony and announced the relevant issues of the airline`s investment projects which are: fleet expansion with Boeing 787 Dreamliner and the construction of the B787 MRO facility in Tashkent, the reconstruction of VIP and business halls in Tashkent International Airport, the renovation of passenger terminal at Urgench airport and the facilities development of all airports of the country.

At the event insurance, reinsurance and leasing conference, international bank and investment forum and round table were organized. The Forum hosted the annual award ceremony of Golden Umbrella in insurance and Gold Portfolio in banking and leasing activities. The awards are established by SAIPRO Information-Rating Agency with the support of the Uzbekistan Banking Association, Association of professional participants of the insurance market of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Lessors Association and UzReport information Agency. A number of bilateral agreements on cooperation Association of professional participants of the insurance market of Uzbekistan and the General Arab Insurance Federation were signed.
