OREANDA-NEWS. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company paid insurance compensation in the amount of about RUB 2.6 m due to the theft of an excavator-loader.

The excavator was insured under a mobile equipment voluntary insurance contract. The contract provides for insurance protection against all risks, including fire, a stroke of lightning, natural disasters or natural hazards, illegal actions of third parties (theft, robbery, robbery, assault with intent to rob, hooliganism, vandalism, deliberate destruction or damage to property), accidents and other risks.

The incident occurred on January 10, 2014. Excavator was stolen in Moscow, at the address of 38 Narodnogo Opolchenia Street. Criminal proceedings were initiated upon the fact of the theft. After the preliminary investigation the case was recognized as an insured event and Ingosstrakh Insurance Company paid compensation to the policy holder in accordance with the terms of the insurance contract.
