OREANDA-NEWS. June 05, 2014. As it was informed in the National Bureau of statistics, the income of enterprises from sales of dairy products in January-March 2014 made up 597,5 million lei.

The total cost of dairy products shipped during this period at the internal and a foreign market, amounted 433.2 million lei, including those exported for 19.2 million lei. According to the official statistics, in I quarter of 2014, production of milk and cream increased by 6%, fat output grew by 34.6% up to 15 million 606,7 thousand tons.

Production of curdled milk and cream, yoghurt, kefir, sour cream and other fermented milk products increased by 2,2% - up to 7 million 532,3 thousand tons, butter – rose by 24.3% to 935,6 thousand tons, cheese increased by 21.4% up to 282,2 thousand. As InfoMarket informed before, the production of dairy products in Moldova in 2013 grew by 8.9% - up to 1 billion 701 million lei.
