Kazakhstan to Develop Sanitary & Epidemiological Passport of Regions
OREANDA-NEWS. June 05, 2014. Sanitary and epidemiological passport of regions will be developed in Kazakhstan. It was announced by the Chairman of the Agency for Protection of Consumers' Rights Bolatbek Kuandikov at a briefing in Central Communications Service under the President.
"We propose to develop and implement sanitary and epidemiological passport of the regions. Also it is proposed to develop GIS maps - forecasts of epidemic threats for medium and long term in order to trace clearly on the basis of analysis of available data, respectively, to give predictions - what threats, hazards are expected, in accordance with international global trends and take appropriate action. Also it is proposed to expand scientific and industrial potential in the field of biosafety," B. Kuandykov said.
According to him, expansion of research and diagnostic capacity of a central reference laboratory that is under construction, creation of complex for production of diagnostic and immunobiological products in accordance with international quality standards GMP (GoodManufacturingPractice) are planned.
