OREANDA-NEWS. June 04, 2014. As it was informed in the National Bureau of Statistics, at its own expense in January- March 2014 383 individual residential houses with a total area of 53.1 thousand square meters were commissioned, or 13.2 % less than at the same period of 2013.

This is 88.8 % of the total housing, put into operation in the whole country. In the rural areas, 170 housing unit’s area of 21.6 thousand square meters, which is 5.3 % less in comparison with the same period. In 2013 the total share of housing commissioned in urban areas in I quarter of 2013 decreased from 67.1% to 63.9 % in I quarter 2014.

The share of housing in rural areas increased from 32.9% to 36.1 %. 258 of new apartments with a square of 36.4 thousand meters, or 26.5% less than at the same period of 2013 were commissioned in the country.
