Transaero Airlines Expands Operations to Republic of Kazakhstan
OREANDA-NEWS. Transaero Airlines expands its route network to the Republic of Kazakhstan. On June 1, 2014 the airline carried out its first scheduled flight on the Moscow-Aktobe route.
The UN277/278 flight is be carried out from Moscow Domodedovo airport twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays in accordance with the following schedule (all times local):
Departure from Moscow at 02:20 am, arrival to Aktobe at 05:45 am
Departure from Aktobe at 06:45 am, arrival to Moscow at 07:50 am
On the new route passengers will be offered Discount class service onboard Boeing 737 aircraft.
The first flight of Transaero Airlines on a new route was welcomed by a special ceremony at Aktobe airport. Representatives of the local authorities, executives of the airport and civil aviation veterans took part in the event.
Aktobe, the administrative center of the Aktyubinsk region, is an actively developing city that has become the ninth destination of Transaero's flights to Kazakhstan. Today direct Transaero flights connect Moscow with Astana, Almaty, Aktau, Atyrau, Karaganda, Kokshetau, Kostanay and Shimket. Now the destination list expands further to include Aktobe.
Transaero launched regular flights to Kazakhstan in 1993. Today it is the largest foreign airline in terms of passenger traffic volume performing flights to this country. Transaero was named Number one foreign airline in Kazakhstan by The Choice of 2013 Awards.The launch of operations between Moscow and Aktobe is another significant step forward for Transaero Airlines in the development of safe, comfortable and affordable air transportation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan.Passengers travelling from Aktobe appeared to be particularly interested in taking advantage of Transaero connecting flights via Moscow to cities in Russia, Western Europe and Middle East.
Transaero's flights to Aktobe have further expanded Discount class offering for airline's clients. This product, introduced in January 2014, meets high demand among Transaero's passengers in Russia and beyond.
