Alfa-Bank has been ranked the 36th in the world for its Forex transactions according to the annual Euromoney FX Survey by one of the most authoritative business publications, having moved up one place from the 37th as compared with the previous year. Furthermore, Alfa-Bank has considerably outpaced its Russian competitors.

The Bank is among leaders in the Forex market of Eastern Europe, with the volume of transactions being reached 10 billion dollars per day.

Alfa-Bank is ranked among Top-10, taking the 8th place in a similar rating covering countries from Central and Eastern Europe (including CIS countries) this year. At that, the strongest of our competitors — the Savings Bank and VTB — took the 19th and 20th places, respectively. Previously, in April this year, the Moscow Interbank Currency Association recognized Alfa-Bank as the Best Forex Desk 2014, according to a survey conducted among Forex dealers from Moscow banks.

The Euromoney magazine has been conducting its annual surveys in the Forex market for more than twenty years. This survey is the major industry instrument of on-line analysis of opportunities in trade, analytics and forex operations, and is recognized a leading ranking in this segment of the market.
