Vitebsk Liquor Plant's Output Reduces 22.5% in Q1
OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' OAO Vitebsk Distillery Pridvinie produced 403,000 dal of vodka and liquor in January-April 2014, down 22.5% on the year, a company representative told.
Vodka output reduced 23% on the year to 358,000 decalitres, pure alcohol - 236,000 dal (down 42.7%).
Brandy output reduced 27.3% to 14,000 dal, while the output of non-alcohol beverages grew 2.4 times to 43,000 dal, mineral water - up 2.1 times to 31,000 dal.
Pridvinie's inventories stood 224.5% of the average monthly output as of May 1, 2014, up 37.8 percentage points month on month.
Established in 1898, Vitebsk Distillery produces a wide range of liquor and vodka beverages. The company's major export markets are Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Turkey, Estonia.
