OREANDA-NEWS. May 30, 2014. Mr.Xu Siwei, party Secretary of Sinosteel Corporation and general manager of Sinosteel Corporation Limited, arranged his research to Sinosteel Anshan Research Institute of Thermal-Energy Co., LtdRITE and attended the opening ceremony of academician experts workstation accompanied by deputy general manager Mr Wang Wenjun.

Xu and his delegations presented on “the opening ceremony of academician experts workstation and academic report in Sinosteel Anshan Research Institute of Thermal-Energy Co., LtdRITE”.Xu unveiled the plaque for workstation together with Mr.Hou Li’an ,academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering , and then addressed on the meeting on behalf of Sinosteel. Xu said,“the foundation of the workstation is a landmark event,which marked for the big step forward of introducing of high-level personnel for RITE as high-tech enterprises.This will positively promote Sinosteel’s scientific development with good demonstration effect”.

Xu and his delegations headed for sea-view city ,Ganquan,to inspect the test base of coal chemical industry research branch and thermal branch in the rain. They checked the laboratory, pilot line and two test base of two branches respectively. Followed ,they listened to the work report of person in Charge from each branch concerning with their responsible project in research ,test and production. They discussed much about the prospects of future development and problems existing during the process of research and development. He encouraged the RITE to insist on innovation drive and to speed up for the upgrading of the industry to tap for new sources of economic growth.

Whereafter, Xu and his delegations arrived at Anshan Open Carbon Thermal Energy New Materials Co., Ltd , a needle coke production enterprise ,located at Anshan Bay Industrial Zone. Xu took a closer look at each production process and listened to the report by the company's person in charge about conditions of production and operation.

The same day, Xu also met with related leadership from Anshan Iron and Steel Group Corporation .They jointly exchanged views on the issues of continue to deepen cooperation in the future. The two parties agreed that they are willing to strengthen the mutual cooperation with complementary advantages, mutual benefit and mutual trust to build a win-win cooperation for the development of a new situation. 

Xu and his delegations arrived at RITE to conduct a survey to R&D factory of subordinate equipments and metallurgical automation instruments. After the inspection ,they headed for the staff dining hall to know more about the standards and quality of working food,repast number and tableware hygiene.

Xu and his delegations listened to the work report of management team from RITE. Xu said ,”the development ideas of RITE is clear; the cultivated some R&D projects have already showing results;the advantages of resources integration is revealed gradually. RITE, as a science and technology enterprise, is required to have a higher level of ability for scientific research and development, and to have the strategic thought of sustainable development with more attention paid to the research and transformation of scientific and technological achievements”.

Xu and his delegations headed for the building of Anshan government to met with Mayor Wu Zhongqiong. Mayor Wu stated that RITE is a very important enterprise in Anshan playing as supporting role to the upgrading of whole industries of the city. The establishment of this expert workstation is more for the introduction of intellectual resources in Anshan. The municipal government will give their most preferential policies and full support to this project.

Xu showed his gratitude to the always support of Anshan government and emphasized “that RITE is now in the critical moment of reform and development,some of the projects are right on the way to be successful. Xu hoped that the government can provide better support in the subsequent stages and both work hard together to make RITE an excellent enterprises and thus Sinosteel Group a name card of city Anshan.
