OREANDA-NEWS. On May 14, 2014 in Academician A.P. Krylov All-Russian Oil and Gas Scientific Research Institute meeting of the management of institute with delegation from Brunei headed by the Energy Minister Mohammad Yasmin Umar was held. Representatives of the Energy Ministry, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Russian Federation Hajni Hashim were in the delegation.

Guests visited main scientific centers of the institute where they studied modern laboratory benches for research of formation fluids, samples and for modelling oil production technologies under reservoir conditions as well as new technologies of VNIIneft for improvement of effectiveness of field development.

In the course of the meeting General director of VNIIneft Artyom Fomkin made presentation of the institute, after which parties discussed ways of possible cooperation in the field of oil production, introduction of new technologies and oil field monitoring.
