OREANDA-NEWS. May 28, 2014. Estonian vodka and spirit producer Liviko could make a bid for Finnish state-owned producer Altia.

Liviko's CEO, Janek Kalvi, told Aripaev the supervisory board will convene in the next few days to discuss the possibility, adding that it is currently unclear how large of a share and on what conditions the Finnish government plans to sell the company.

Altia reported a 475-million-euro turnover and 0.7-million-euro profit last year. Liviko's figures in 2013 were 136 million euros in turnover and a 0.3-million-euro profit.
