OREANDA-NEWS.  May 28, 2014. The meeting of Chairman of the Tourism Industry Committee of the MINT Marat Igaliyev with the Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan and Vietnam and Chairman of "Sovico Holding" Nguyen Thanh Hung has been held as part of the Astana Economic Forum.

During the meeting, the Vietnamese side offered Kazakhstan to develop jointly resorts on the coasts of the country. Along with this, an investment holding company has expressed its interest in acquisition and modernization of existing hotels in Kazakhstan. It was also suggested to develop joint tourism packages with use of opportunities of the country’s second largest airline "VietjetAir", which is a holding company "Sovico Holdings".

In turn, the Kazakh side presented investment projects under implementation of the Concept of tourism industry development in the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2020. In particular, the investment proposals on project development of Shuchinsk - Borovoy resort area were transferred.
