OREANDA-NEWS. May 28, 2014. A modern office premises building of 10547 square metres together with a land plot of 5680 square metres belonging to Snoras bank in Riga is to be sold at auction. Everyone who wishes to participate in the auction can submit their applications and before the auction visit the office building. The initial sale price of the property reaches almost 40 million Litas (EUR 11.5 million).

The office premises building is located at 15 Jana Dalina Str. in Riga’s rapidly growing Skanste district, which is becoming the new financial and business centre of the city.

“This is the largest and most expensive real estate property belonging to Snoras group in Latvia. Its sale will allow to return a considerable amount to bank’s creditors”, Neil Cooper, Snoras Bankruptcy administrator, said.
   
The sale of the office premises building is managed by Colliers International Latvia, which is also selling the second Snoras property in Latvia located in Riga at 23 Pils Str. Colliers group companies manage sales of Snoras and foreclosed property in Lithuania and other countries.

“The interest in the property is high and it is markedly growing nearing the auction day. The technical condition of the office building for sale in Skanste district is good. The premises can be offered to the market in a short period of time to meet high lease demand of quality office premises that is being observed in Riga", Denis Kairans, Managing director at Colliers International Latvia, said.

The office building has not been acquired at the auction on April 28. The office building for sale was constructed in 2006 and was the former headquarters of Krajbanka bank which belonged to Snoras group.
