Delta Air Lines Launches Service between Copenhagen and New York
OREANDA-NEWS. Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) is today resuming its summer seasonal flights between Copenhagen and New York-JFK. The flights will operate daily, in conjunction with joint venture partner Air France KLM.
“The summer is always the most popular time for leisure travel so it’s important we offer services to meet this demand,” said Perry Cantarutti, Delta’s senior vice president for Europe, Middle East and Africa. “New York is one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations with 55 million people expected to visit this year. Our nonstop flights from Copenhagen will make it more convenient for people to visit and allow our customers to maximize the time they spend in the U.S.”
The services to New York-JFK will be operated with B757-200 aircraft with 167 seats featuring 15 seats in BusinessElite, with passengers enjoying a five course meal with wines chosen by Master Sommelier, Andrea Robinson. Customers flying in Economy Comfort, Delta’s premium economy service, benefit from up to four additional inches of legroom and 50 percent more recline than Delta’s standard international Economy class seats, as well as priority boarding. Other product initiatives being rolled out across Delta’s international fleet include the expansion of Wi-Fi service by the end of 2015.
