OREANDA-NEWS. May 27, 2014. An official delegation conducted an inspection visit to the jobsite of Gusao Road Transformation Project, which was contracted by China First Metallurgical Construction Group (CFMCC Group).

The delegation members consisted of Mayor Tang Liangzhi and Vice Mayor Zhang Guangqing of Wuhan Municipal Government, Director-General Peng Hao of Wuhan Municipal Urban & Rural Construction Committee, General Manager Zhang Jun of Wuhan Real Estate Group. Vice General Manager Lao Xiaoyun of CFMCC Group accompanied the delegation during the visit.

Under the Gusao Road Transformation Project, the main line viaduct has been completed for traffic, and the major task has been focused on the ground surface part. Brand new design concept will be employed for the construction of sidewalk. The demonstrative section of the sidewalk has been built up by utilizing new and old design concepts for comparison. With regard to the sidewalk constructed with new concept, improvement has been made for the technical process. The concrete pavement will be leveled by mix-slurry leveling process; in addition, specially made rubber bricks will be used for the pavement of sidewalk for the blind. In comparison with the traditional sidewalk, the new one is featured by innovation in design concept, elegant appearance and convenience for people.

At the jobsite, Mayor Tang Liangzhi and his delegation members were debriefed on the construction of the demonstrative section of the sidewalk. He pointed out that, the sidewalk construction should be carried out in the principles of solid, durable, elegant appearance, cost effectiveness and convenience for people. The Mayor emphasized that, the sidewalk should be built with the care and precision of a sculptor and the technical process should be further optimized. Tang also encouraged CFMCC Group to learn more advanced concept and experiences from the other insiders of the industry, and established this project into a perfect one for Wuhan City.
